From the dental chair to financial education — and everything in between.
A mother. A former Dental Surgeon. A woman who started over — not because life was easy, but because a loss I could not explain showed me a purpose I could not ignore.
This is my story. And I hope somewhere in it, you find a piece of yours.
For years, that was how I introduced myself. And I was proud of it. The training was long and rigorous. The responsibility was real. Every day, I sat across from a patient and made decisions that affected their health, their comfort, their wellbeing.
I learned early what it meant to diagnose before you treat. To never prescribe something without fully understanding the person in front of you. To see each patient as an individual — not a case number, not a product to be sold, not a problem to be processed.
That philosophy — diagnosis before prescription — never left me. It simply found a new home.
"I was trained to fix things before they became unfixable. That instinct never left me — it just moved from teeth to finances."
I loved what I did. But life, as it often does, had a different plan.
I lost someone I loved.
In the aftermath of that loss, I witnessed something that I cannot unsee to this day. A family — hardworking, loving, immigrant — left in a state of complete financial vulnerability. Not because they had not worked hard enough. Not because they had not loved enough. But because nobody had ever sat down with them and explained how money, protection, and planning actually work in Canada.
They had lived here for years. They had built a life here. And in the most painful moment of that life — they had nothing to fall back on.
"I watched a GoFundMe page go up for that family. And I made a promise that day — not on my watch. Not for any family I can reach."
I could not fix what had already happened. But I could make sure it did not happen to someone else. That was the moment everything shifted. That was the moment I found my real purpose.
A GoFundMe campaign is not a fundraiser. It is a symptom. It is what happens when the financial system fails a family — or when nobody ever took the time to explain it to them. I decided I would be that person.
I did not take shortcuts. I knew that if I was going to stand in front of families and help them navigate one of the most complex financial systems in the world, I needed to truly understand it — not just enough to sell, but enough to educate with integrity.
I studied accounting and taxes. Not to become an accountant — but to understand the numbers that were silently shaping every family's future. What I discovered confirmed everything I feared: the gap between what people knew and what they needed to know was enormous. And it was costing families dearly.
Even after all of that — the accounting, the tax studies, the workshop — I saw that something was still missing. Families needed more than products. They needed someone who would sit with them, speak plainly, and help them see the full picture. That is what none of my education prepared me to find. And that is exactly what I built.
I want to be honest about something that does not get said enough.
I started this with one child in my arms. A single mother, in a new country, building something from nothing. Not after things settled down — before they ever did. During the sleepless nights. During the mornings when the school drop-off ran late and the first meeting was already waiting. During the moments when I wondered if I was doing enough — as a mother, as a professional, as a human being carrying a mission that felt bigger than me.
There was no second income to fall back on. No safety net of the kind I was working to build for others. Just purpose. And my son — who, without knowing it, was the reason I kept going every single day.
"Every family I help is a family like mine. A mother who needs to know her children are protected. That is not professional distance — that is personal. That is everything."
Three years after my son was born, in 2023, my husband arrived. And with him came something I had not had through the hardest stretch — a partner. Someone who saw the weight of this mission and chose to carry it beside me, not instead of me.
My son taught me something no course ever could: that the work you do for love is the work that lasts. Every workshop I host, every family I sit with, every conversation I have — I carry him with me. He is my deepest reason.
And now, when I look at him, I want him to see a mother who did not give up when it was hard. Who found purpose in pain. Who chose to serve rather than to settle. And a family that, together, is now taking this mission to the next level — because the need is too great, and the families are too many, to do it any other way.
The name came naturally. Because that is exactly what I do.
A doctor does not prescribe before diagnosing. A good doctor listens, asks questions, understands the full picture — and then, only then, recommends a course of action tailored to that person, not a generic solution copied from a shelf.
That is precisely what was missing from the financial education available to most Canadian families. Not information — the internet has plenty of that. What was missing was a personalised, honest, education-first conversation with someone who genuinely cared about the outcome.
The Wealth Prescription is not a company. It is a commitment. To every family that deserved to know this and never had anyone take the time to explain it. That time is now.
That is not a tagline. That is a promise I made to myself on the day I watched that page go up. And it is the reason I show up every single day.
A GoFundMe after a loss is not generosity — it is a gap. A gap in knowledge. A gap in planning. A gap in protection. And that gap is entirely preventable with the right education at the right time.
"My goal — before I am done — is to empower so many families that no family ever has to beg for money on a GoFundMe campaign. That is my purpose. That is why I do this every single day."
I cannot meet every family individually. So I built the workshops. I built the YouTube channel. I built the tools and the scripts and the systems — not for income, but for impact.
Because every family that attends a workshop and walks away understanding how to protect their income, their children's education, and their legacy — is one less GoFundMe page. One less family in crisis. One more story that ends differently.
That is the Wealth Prescription. And it belongs to every family in Canada who never had access to it before.
